A Washington DC native, Fernando has been shooting in and around the Washington area since the early 1970's. His photography has been seen in both gallery exhibitions and commercial venues. Currently, his focus is on documenting the local music scene through portraits of its musicians, shot on location using a portable studio at concerts ranging from downtown Washington, DC to the Chicago Blues Festival.

His latest exhibit featured DC area musicians at the renowned Govinda Gallery in Georgetown, a premier music oriented venue. |
